Mohammad wins 1st place for his 3 minute thesis

tlab/C-BRIC/SRC student Mohammad Taha wins 1st place for his 3 minute thesis presentation on “Memristive Inference Using Graphs” at the 2020 ECE PhD Day. Congrats!

Ishaan and Owen Selected as Finalists for MIT Think

tlab interns and high schoolers Ishaan Sinha and Owen Caverly were selected finalists for the MIT Think competition with their project “EyeHear: Smart Glasses for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.”

This year,  6 out of 326 submitted projects were selected. As finalists, Ishaan and Owen were invited to a four-day all-expenses paid trip to MIT’s campus, where they meet professors in their field of research, toured labs, attended MIT’s xFair, and hang out with members of the THINK team. They will also have weekly mentorship meetings with THINK team members for technical guidance, get helpful resources, and are given up to $1,000 in funding for their project.

Ty Wins Best Poster Award

Former NSF REU site and tlab student Ty Lazarchik won the best poster award for Public Transportation Planning and Development at the 99th Annual Meeting of the Transportation Research Board.
