Christof Teuscher, Principal instigator

Christof Teuscher is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Portland State University. Dr. Teuscher obtained his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree in computer science from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) in 2000 and 2004 respectively. His main research focuses on next generation computing architectures and paradigms. See teuscher-lab.com for more information.

 

Niklas Anderson, Graduate student + peer mentor

Niklas Anderson is a student in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate program, with a focus on computer architecture. His work includes researching intrinsic memory in Spiking Neural Networks and engineering digital designs for FPGAs. He has previously worked in software engineering and web development, and got his first hands-on experience at the command line while volunteering at Free Geek in SE Portland. When not busy with school or work, he enjoys cooking, traveling with friends, long bike rides, and honing his pickleball serve.
