We are seeking an undergraduate student administrator to help us run the NSF-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) Site on “Computational Modeling Serving the City.”
AS AN REU SITE PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR, YOU WILL:
- Communicate with potential and admitted students via e-mail and phone
- Coordinate recruiting efforts
- Design and maintain online application forms
- Prepare application packages for review
- Plan and organize meetings and events
- Arrange student travel, lodging, transportation
- Analyze and visualize data
- Prepare flyers, presentations, and advertising materials for the program
- Maintain the WordPress website
MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Outstanding oral and written communication in English
- Organizational talent
- Familiar with Google Suite products
- Reliable
- Detail-oriented
- Available to work over the summer
- US citizen or permanent resident
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Familiar with Qualtrics and Google forms
- Ability to design flyers, invitations, etc.
- Multilingual
COMPENSATION
- Hourly wage: $14 (depending on qualifications and experience)
- Approx. 5h per week during the fall term
- Approx. 8h per week during the winter term
- Approx. 12h per week during the spring term
- Approx. 12h per week during the summer term
